Spray Paint + Oils
Large Cream Armored Parker
The Process:
Before
Before: He was partially started
Before: Lots of little issues and paint not in the lines
The first thing I did was start on the leather areas, as well as paint the tail cream to match his body.
It took forever to tape over all his jewels!
Turning the blue to red. I like red.
Both sides!
Added more gold areas
The saddle was too dark so I took it back and made a new lighter base for the texture to be applied on.
Experimenting with turning the gold armor to silver. I ended up liking it better!
Silver armor almost done.
All silver armor! That looks much better. Now it was time to add back in the gold :)
The gold trim ties everything together.
Leather saddle texture
More leather texturing.
Adding the darker/dirty crevices to make everything pop.
Darker edges
Slowly adding the darker crevices everywhere. In video games we call that Ambient Occlusion.
Uncovering the jewels!
The other side. I really like his neck armor on this side.
These armor plates are so cool!
Adding the first saddle decoration.
Close up of the head
All the little details are now added!
Last detail shot!
Voila! I really like this piece. Very much my style.
